biography
Who is She?
Hello! I'm Abigail Rogers, though my friends often call me Abby Leigh. With a passion for both marketing and agriculture education, I've found my calling in bridging the gap between these two seemingly distinct worlds. I believe that effective communication is the key to educating and inspiring people about where their food comes from, and I'm on a mission to make a difference.
While I may be a marketing professional by title, I'm also known as a "granny" among my friends, affectionately referring to my love for sewing, baking, and indulging in a good book. You'll often find me cozied up by 9 pm, ready to dive into a new sewing project or whip up a batch of homemade cookies.
What truly sets my heart ablaze is my passion for the agriculture industry. I firmly believe in the power of educating people about the origins of their food and fostering a deeper connection to the land. Whether it's through innovative marketing campaigns that highlight sustainable farming practices or engaging workshops that bring the farm to the classroom, I'm dedicated to nurturing a more informed and conscious consumer base.

Career
Schooling
My journey began at Oklahoma Panhandle State University, where I pursued a double major in Agriculture Education and Agronomy. This unique combination allowed me to gain a deep understanding of the agricultural industry and its significance in our lives. Through my studies, I learned not only about crops and farming techniques but also about the importance of conveying this knowledge to a wider audience.
Currently, I'm furthering my education by pursuing an MBA with a concentration in Women in Leadership at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. This educational journey has equipped me with valuable insights into leadership, strategy, and effective communication, which I'm eager to apply in both my marketing endeavors and agricultural advocacy work.

the early career
As I continue to grow in my career and education, my vision remains clear—to be a driving force in advocating for agriculture, empowering women in leadership roles, and shaping a future where everyone has a better understanding of the intricate journey that food takes from farm to table.
I am excited to apply the strategic insights and communication techniques I'm acquiring to the dynamic world of marketing. I'm eager to contribute my creativity, dedication, and a fresh perspective to a marketing team, while also learning from experienced professionals in the field. This next step is not just about launching a career, but about combining my passion for education with marketing to make a positive impact and foster meaningful connections between industries and audiences.
